你为什么不能像他那样做?”“你看别人家的孩子，自己能吃饭，整理玩具也是自己做。”
对正在发育的孩子，父母的心情很着急。平时只是自己家人在一起时，没什么感觉，但是一旦看见别人家的孩子比自家的孩子做得好的时候，心里可能就会不舒服，很容易说出和别人家孩子做比较的话。但是，这样的话只能启发孩子。不必要的竞争意识，没有教育性的效果。孩子们的成长速度各不一样，长处和短处也各不一样。所以不能和别的孩子做比较从而嘲笑自己的孩子，应该把注意力集中到发现孩子做的好的事情上，表扬和鼓励他。
“你现在多大了?还这样!”
这是父母对孩子的所作所为不满意时经常说的话。不过这个和让五六岁的孩子到高级餐厅，希望他能够很有礼貌地很有风度地吃饭是没有什么区别的，是过分的要求。同样，要求他一动不动地坐一个小时以上，也是一个过分的要求。让孩子老老实实地坐在椅子上，有时也做不到。他或者是盘腿、或者换换姿势、动动这个、动动那个，父母完全按着自己的要求去要求孩子，完全忘记了让孩子做那种成熟的动作是多么难的事情。
“你真想在别人眼里成为傻瓜吗?”
妈妈想给孩子穿上漂亮的连衣裙，孩子却要穿随便的T恤衫，还有很脏的裤子。父母想让自己的孩子在别人面前打扮得漂亮，所以就要坚持自己的主张。但是孩子超过4周岁就会有自己的想法和兴趣爱好，尽管在大人们看来非常可笑。除非是去非常讲究的场所，否则还是尽量尊重孩子的意见。
“不要妨碍妈妈。”
看着孩子在忙来忙去收拾饭桌的**的旁边，拿着抹布走来走去，觉得碍事，就对孩子发脾气说： “去干-你自己的事” “去拿玩具玩。”但是要知道孩子过了3周岁，就想帮助妈妈做什么;要理解孩子的这个欲望，如果真的很碍事，求得孩子的原谅，告诉他妈妈确实着意做完这些事情。
“烦死了!”
这使孩子感觉到自己的话很不重要;或者是感觉到自已是个没用的存在。孩子是看见什么学什么，要想孩子学会心平气和地说话的方式，首先父母自己就要这么做。想一想自己是不是这样做了。
“再有这样的事情我就不客气了! ”
这样说会使孩子产生好奇心，孩子想知道我真的这样做了父母会对我怎么样。等到他再次做错事情的时候，如果父母不能对他怎么样，只能削弱父母的威信。
“你不跟着来我就不管你了! ”
这样说会使孩子心灵深处产生恐怖和不安，孩子害怕不知道什么时候会失去父母。孩子和父母的亲子关系应该正常形成，这样才能使孩子离开父母去幼儿园、学校、社会的过程顺利进行。然而，如果经常让孩子感到恐惧和不安，经常让他感到不知什么时候会失去父母，就可能影响他的独立性。
